Squirrels are the youngest members of the Scouts family, aged 4 to 6 years old, and they’re full of energy, imagination, and curiosity!

What Do Squirrels Do?

Squirrels learn through playing, exploring, and doing! One moment they might be building a den or going on a mini treasure hunt… the next, they’re planting seeds, painting, singing songs, or earning their very first badge.

They might not realise it, but along the way they’re also learning:

  • How to work as a team
  • How to try their best
  • How to help others
  • And how to have LOTS of fun!

Whether it’s running around outside, listening to a story, or making something amazing with their hands, there’s always something exciting just around the corner.

A Great Start for Growing Minds

Our one-hour sessions help Squirrels get ready for the adventure of school, giving them the chance to build social skills, follow routines, and feel proud of their achievements.

It’s a safe, welcoming space where every child is encouraged to be themselves and shine in their own way.

Led by Amazing Volunteers

Behind every giggle, badge, and high-five is a team of wonderful adult volunteers who plan inspiring activities to keep our Squirrels smiling and learning. They make every session magical, safe, and filled with wonder.
