Welcome to our Scout Group!

Founded in 1958, based at our HQ, Gales Drive, Three Bridges and with Section meetings at the Maidenbower Community Centre.

We believe that Scouting is for everyone — all genders, races, and backgrounds are welcome. No matter your child’s physical ability, there’s a thrilling Scout adventure waiting for them, and we’re here to help them discover it.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire young people from every walk of life to try new activities, embrace the great outdoors, forge lifelong friendships, develop valuable skills, build confidence, and unlock their full potential.

At the heart of Scouting is the spirit of adventure. We offer an exciting range of activities that challenge, reward, and create unforgettable memories. From rock climbing, abseiling, and kayaking to rifle shooting, archery, and camping, there’s something for every thrill-seeker. Our young people also enjoy bike riding, crate stacking, outdoor cooking, and so much more.

For those looking to push their boundaries even further, our District Explorers have the chance to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and embark on exciting overseas expeditions.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated team of volunteer leaders and helpers. They bring energy, enthusiasm, and experience to every weekly meeting.

2 Cub Scout Packs (8 – 10½)

• Maidenbower – Thursdays

2 Scout Troops (10 ½ – 14)

• Three Bridges (Kraken Troop) – Thursdays
• Three Bridges (Phoenix Troop) – Fridays

Explorers (14 – 18)
