Cubs Visit the Heart of UK Democracy
On Monday, two of our Cubs, Dominic and Harry, had the fantastic opportunity to join other Cubs from across the District on a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament.
The visit was both educational and inspiring, as they explored the historic corridors of one of the most iconic buildings in the country. During the tour, they learned about the rich history of the Palace of Westminster, the evolution of British democracy, and how Parliament operates today.
One of the highlights of the day was getting to stand in both the House of Lords and on the Government benches in the House of Commons—a rare and exciting experience that brought their learning to life!
It was a day full of discovery, and Dominic and Harry returned with lots of stories and a deeper understanding of how our government works. A big thank you to the organisers for making the trip so memorable!
