Stock Controller

What you’ll do

Our Group has a surprising amount of stock! From T-shirts and scarfs and other items, we need someone to keep track of what we have and make sure items are available when they’re needed.

You could be responsible for:

  • Keeping an accurate record of Group stock.
  • Managing items such as T-shirts, scarfs, and other merchandise.
  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying when items need to be reordered.
  • Organising the distribution of items to sections and members.
  • Keeping records of stock issued and received.
  • Working with suppliers when new stock is required.
  • Helping ensure stock is stored safely and efficiently.
  • Reviewing stock levels periodically and reporting to the Group where required.

What we’re looking for

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is organised and enjoys keeping things in order.
  • Is comfortable maintaining simple records or spreadsheets.
  • Has good attention to detail.
  • Can manage stock and orders reliably.
  • Is happy working independently.

You don’t need any previous Scouting experience.

Time commitment

This is a flexible role. The workload will vary depending on the time of year and when new stock is ordered, with most tasks able to be completed at a time that suits you.
