  • Helping create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Working with parents and carers where appropriate.
  • Supporting volunteers within the team and helping them develop their skills.
  • Keeping the section organised and ensuring key administration is completed.
  • Working with other sections and Group leaders to support the wider 5th Crawley Group.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything when you start. We provide training and support to help you develop into the role.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and reliable.
  • Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions.
  • Enthusiastic about giving young people great experiences.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn and develop.

Time commitment

The commitment will vary depending on the section, but will generally include attending the section’s weekly meeting, planning time and occasional events or activities.
